GutterACE – Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a question that's not covered below simply give us a call or send us an email. We'll be delighted to answer any questions at all about our service.
Q. How does it work?
A. We use a very powerful Skyvac wet and dry vacuum with strong, lightweight carbon fibre poles and specially developed cleaning heads and nozzles to suck all waste from your gutters up to 40’ high!
Q. Can you remove weeds from my gutters?
A. We have specially developed cleaning heads to break and dislodge weeds. We can then safely suck and remove them from your gutters.
Q. How can I be sure my gutters have been properly cleared?
A. We use a telescopic inspection pole with a WiFi camera. We will show you ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos of your gutters. We will email your photos with your invoice.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. We have designed a fixed cost pricing matrix making it easy for you to see exactly how much it will cost. The good news is that this is not an expensive job – prevention is cheaper in the long run!
Q. How do I get a quote?
A. Use our fixed price pricing matrix and fill in our online form and we will call you back. Alternatively email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 07584 300 342
Q. How quickly can you clear my gutters?
A. We aim to complete your job as soon as possible – normally within 3-5 days.
Q. Do I need to be home for you to clear my gutter?
A. We will need access to electricity so if you have an outside socket we can work unattended. We can still email you ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos and you can pay online. Remember – we will send you a link to track us when we are on our way so you don’t have to wait in all day!
Q. I have a shared downpipe with my neighbour?
A. We can clear just your gutter run if need be, but if you speak to your neighbour you can take advantage of our 15% neighbour discount if both jobs are booked at the same time and both gutter clears are completed on the same day.
Q. I have a dog or other pet?
A. No problem, we ask that all pets are kept safely indoors or in cages/kennels. We do not want your pets escaping if a gate is open whilst we are working at your property.
Q. How often should I get my gutters cleared?
A. Generally an annual clear is sufficient, however if you live in a very leafy area your gutters may require clearing more regularly.
Q. Do you wash gutters and facias.
A. No, we do not wash/clean gutters or facias. Our job is to clear waste from your gutters so that rainwater is channelled safely away from your property. We are happy to recommend a specialist cleaner for this type of work if required.
Q. Do you have insurance
A. Yes, we have £2 million public liability insurance.
